Does Gravity Need Spacetime?

General relativity describes gravity as the curvature of spacetime, while some quantum-gravity approaches suggest that spacetime may emerge from deeper quantum structures.

If spacetime is not fundamental, what would replace curvature as the explanation for gravity?

Do emergent spacetime models offer explanation? What experimental or theoretical evidence would count against each position?

Would it be gravitons?the sole partical that is theoretical that would connect relativity and quantum physics

what is yay??

Debate: Is Time Fundamental or Emergent?

Do you think time is a fundamental part of reality, or emergent? Share your stance and arguments. Include examples such as entropy, relativity, or quantum measurement that support your view.

It is emergent. Time has existed long before the universe did and it is supposed to be like that. It probably exists in a physically accessible form . You can take reference from singularity scene from Interstellar (2014). Time is probably what with the help of some external forces probably like gravity may have folded a part of the blank space to break into the physical 3 dimensional matter we are made of. So time for us cannot be physically accessible but yes once we become a part of a civilisation that is type 4 or type 5 civilisation that is capable of controlling time it means we are capable of reaching beyond the limits of the universe so then can we control time.
